中国文化大革命の大宣伝 ― 2009/09/05 05:56
草森紳一の同書を読み進んでいる。少しずつ文化大革命が何であったのかが見えてくる。あの時代に起こっていたことと自分が過ごした高校・大学での出来事がシンクロしてくる。高校生が何故、学生運動に走ったか、大学の立て看板は中国を真似たものであったかなどの認識はうっすらしかなかったが、ちょっと見えてきた。毛沢東の策略とそれを超えた意外な展開。紅衛兵になれる人は育ちのいい、極僅かな階級で、残りはタダで中国全土の旅が出来ることを利用したほとんど無思想な若者であったことや手当たり次第に古いものを破壊したことなど、興味は尽きない。
上下巻で1200ページあるこの本を読了するには、どれくらいの時間がかかるのだろう。のんびりやっていると、今年一杯かかりそうなので、集中したい。
