帰りのエールフランス機で見た映画『パリより愛をこめて』。英語版でフランス語の字幕だから、難解だったけれど、ストーリー自体は単純で分かりやすかった。フランスのアメリカ大使館の職員は、実は駆け出しのCIA諜報員。それと合流したベテラン諜報員のジョン・トラボルタが、ガンガン拳銃を乱射してパリの街を飛び交う。中国人麻薬組織を摘発するが、本来の目的は違うところにあった。それは、アメリカ大統領夫人暗殺計画の阻止。リュック・ベンソンが監修しただけのことはあり、飽きさせないアクションシーンの連続。言葉が分からなくても、2時間があっという間に過ぎていく。それに、パリから帰国の飛行機だし。
