　日本制作の軟なジャズの乱発で株を下げたケニー・ドリューではあるが、この頃はまだ位が高かった。ギターのフィリップ・カテリーンとベースのペデルセンを従えたドイツでのコンサート。いきなり、未発表のボーナストラックから始まる。1と3がLPには入っていなかったもの。
　雨の朝はいつも色んな演奏家のHere's That Rainy Dayを聞いていたが、春からはこれも加えようか。ペデルセンのベースソロの速弾きで落ち着かないが。それとピアノの音が硬質でちょっと変。ケニーのピアノはどれもこんな音だったかなぁ。コンサートだから、そこのピアノの音色なんだろうな。
　古本市の横にひっそりと置いてあったジャズのCD。7枚買ったが計4千6百円。なかなか、面白いものもあり、明日も行って来ようと思っている。ジョー・ザヴィヌルの1959年のトリオも買ったが、当たり前すぎるピアノで予想通り。でも、納得している。700円だからいいのだ。
