　ウカウカしているうちに、既に出発まで3週間となった。少しは準備が進んでいるが、気持ちは高まらなくなった。十分に考える時間があるけれど、旅での新展開が思い浮かばない。せいぜい、ハイラインパークと言う旧鉄道路線を公園にしたところへ行ってみたいと思うだけ。
　これではいかんなぁ。地下鉄の路線図を引っ張り出して、自分のホテルから乗るには何番の電車かなとか考えるくらいしかやっていない。それほど行きたいところもないし、ミュージカルも見たくない。意外と時間を持て余したりして。孫のお土産ばかり探しているかもしれない。職場へのお土産を考えなくて良くなったので、それは幸い。
　CDショップも魅力はないし、読めない古本屋を覗いてもなぁ。今日は二日酔いだったので、酒のことも考えたくないし。
　旅を決めた日の胸の高鳴りが消えてしまって、時間に遅れたら大変だとか心配事の方が多く考えるようになった。自分を叱咤しなければ。
