既に、今月に入って10回くらいの宴会をこなした。後、8回ほどある。少人数の仲間の宴会は楽しいが、付き合いで出る大勢の宴会は、料理も画一的で、ビールも注がれて注がれて大変である。どうして日本人は、お酌をしたがるのだろう。あれで敬意を表しているのだろうが、こちらは迷惑。しかも、宴会終了直前まで、注ぎまくるから最後の乾杯をし終えたときにもテーブルにはなみなみと注がれてグラスが全員の席に残っている。エコだとか何だとか言っているが、料理もたくさん残されており、その残骸は見たくない光景。それをもったいないとも思わないで2次会に繰り出す。こんな宴会ばかりを見ている。どうしたものかなぁ。どうしたら、この悪習から脱皮できるだろうか。
まず、飲み放題というシステムをやめたほうがいい。全く有り難味のない方法だと思う。好きなものをきちんと頼んで、その料金を払うということが大切だ。店のほうも、飲み物の料金を飲み放題に近づけたものにすればいい。次は、自分の席から経つことをしばらくの間禁止したらお酌というものが少なくなるだろう。自分の席できちんと料理を食べて酒を飲んで、、終わってから動き出せばいい。最後は、残ったものを家に持っていくようなパックを店のほうで用意したらいい。食べ物が悪くなると店の信用に係わるとか言って、嫌がるホテルばかりだが、それは自己責任だから、きちんと個人個人の自覚を持てばいい。
